Ray Allen has been one of the bigger prizes on the free agent market this offseason and has had three main suitors emerge. The Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics all fought to secure the services of the future Hall of Famer and Allen has decided to take his talents to South Beach.
Ray Allen was going to help any team immensely, especially since all the teams after him need some long range shooting. Allen makes any team more deadly since he possesses one of the best jump shots in the history of basketball. If there is such a thing as the perfect shot, I believe Ray Ray has it.
He is nearing the end of his career, so winning another title is the last thing he needs to do. I believe his skills are going to allow him to help the immensely.
I’m not going to lie, this is one of the best free agency periods that I can remember. There are deals happening every day and a lot of teams are making the moves necessary to win a title. Bringing in a guy like Ray Allen is a certain way to boost your title hopes.
Expect Ray Allen to make a killing next season from the perimeter. I bet his injuries are behind him and he is going to focus on what he does best. You can not stop him from the outside, you can only hope to contain him.
