Blake Griffin is going to be a headline star in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future.  The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a five year, 95 million dollar extension with the superstar power forward.  Griffin has only been in the league for a couple of years, but has already turned into a must see talent.

Does Blake Griffin have holes in his game?  Why yes, he has tremendous holes.  Does he get better each season?  Up to this point, he has.  I think that his defense can become a lot better, especially one on one.  He is fine on the weakside, but other aspects must be shored up.

Griffin also must work on a consistent jump shot and a consistent post up game.  It is amazing to see that he averages a lot of his points without having an actual go to move.  His free shooting also needs to improve tremendously.  He needs to get it to between 70 and 75 percent for him to become even more dangerous.

All that being said, Blake Griffin is a tremendous talent.  He needs to work on other aspects of his game because his athleticism can not carry him forever.  A jump shot and a good post move will add a lot of life to his career.

The next thing the Clippers need to do is get Griffin’s point guard locked up in the offseason.  Without Chris Paul, this Griffin extension might be too much.
