NBA Rumors: Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls, Portland Trail Blazers Could Be Involved In Three Team Trade

Tons of NBA rumors are floating around right now and it looks like Nicolas Batum is in the middle of them.  The latest rumor has Batum going to the Minnesota Timberwolves while two first round picks and a veteran forward head to the Portland Trail Blazers.  A third team would have to supply the forward and it looks like it would be Kyle Korver and the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls just make too much sense in this deal.  They are trying to ship Korver out and get something in return and they have been linked to Minnesota.  It is unclear would they would get back.  Some people think they will get a TPE back while others believe that Luke Ridnour would go to the Bulls.  I think Bulls would not be happy with either, but at least Ridnour is another body.

This also gets Batum to Minnesota, which is where he wants to be.  The Blazers pick up two first round picks and a guy to step in and play decent minutes for them.  This deal seems to work from every possible angle.  That is how trades are supposed to work these days.  I actually can see why every single team in this deal would consider this.

I expect talks on this are still fluid so a lot of things can change in the coming hours and days.  I do know that Batum wants to join the squad in Minnesota and this seems like the best bet to actually grant his wish.
