Derrick Rose Ahead Of Schedule In Rehab From Torn ACL
Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls had an injury riddled season and then to put a cherry on top, he blew out his ACL in the first game of the playoffs. A lot of people think that Rose won’t be back until after the All-Star break, but he is apparently ahead of schedule in his recovery.
“He’s walking without a boot,” Reggie said. “He’s way ahead of schedule.
“It’s just keeping him focused, and we’re not trying to rush him. Basically, just rehab, rehab, rehab. We haven’t put nothing basketball in his face.”
It is great that Derrick Rose is ahead of schedule but I think a lot of Bulls fans would rather have him take his time in rehab. I am a Bulls fan and I am already looking at next season as a lost one. Bulls fans should want a Derrick Rose at 100 percent. They should not want him back if he is not fully healthy.
The biggest fear that a lot people have is that Rose will rush back and re-injure himself. That would be the worst thing that could happen to Rose and the franchise. It would basically slam their title window shut. That would be a horrible thing for basketball fans everywhere.
Rose is an extremely special player to watch. When he is healthy, he makes plays that a lot of players can only dream of making. If he is not healthy when he comes back, those plays will cease to exist.
