Reggie Jackson Throws Down Poster Dunk In Oklahoma City’s Final Summer League Game

Reggie Jackson could be a surprise guy for the Oklahoma City Thunder next season.  The point guard from Boston College will be entering his second year and is trying to crack into the rotation.  If he can make plays like this, he will get playing time as the throws down the massive poster dunk.

I thought Jackson would get more playing time last year, but he struggled at times and then his minutes went to Derek Fisher.  That is not a bad thing, as sometimes rookies need more time to observe the game instead of actually playing.  I think that will serve him well and he has been looking good in the summer league.

There is not doubt that Reggie Jackson is one of the more athletic players in the summer league.  If these plays show up during the season, the Thunder have themselves quite a player.  You never know what you are going to see if you pay attention to the summer league.

Personally, I love the summer league and everything that it stands for.  You get to see young players scratching and clawing to break into training camps and it is the first look at new draft picks.  Sure, it is not the highest level of play but it is a perfect way to learn about new players.

The Orlando league is over but the players are shifting to Las Vegas to take one more crack at making an impression.  Good look topping the one Reggie Jackson made.
