NBA Rumors: Bulls Miss On Mayo, Target Marco Belinelli

The Chicago Bulls whiffed on signing O.J. Mayo, who has signed with the Dallas Mavericks. The latest NBA rumors include the Bulls among four teams targeting New Orleans Hornets restricted free agent Marco Belinelli. He reportedly has interest from the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors, according to a report from Eric Pincus of HoopsWorld.

Belinelli made it known that his first choice was the Los Angeles Clippers. However, the Clippers only had a Bi-Annual exception to offer the Italian guard. Instead, the Clippers went ahead and signed veteran Grant Hill, ending their pursuit of Belinelli.

It’s doubtful the Knicks would pursue Mario after the busy off-season they have had. The Magic are at a stand-still in the middle of the Dwight Howard nightmare, and the Warriors initially drafted Belinelli with the 18th pick in the 2007 draft. Take a look at the options, and it just might be possible that the Chicago Bulls are the best and most sensible destination for the 6’5″ shooting guard.

The Warriors head coach was a member of the 1995-96 Bulls team that many think of as the greatest team of all time.

Bulls' Noah Comes Nowhere Close To Making Jumper

Joakim Noah is a tremendous hustler and a gritty basketball player who does all the dirty work. That being said, this jump shot was terrible. This was the worst attempt that I've ever seen in my life and I don't expect that Noah will be shooting any more than layups for a good while.
