NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Looking At Delonte West

The Los Angeles Lakers have been mentioned in a lot of NBA rumors this offseason and this latest one has them interested in Delonte West.  The guard who played for the Dallas Mavericks last season would be a big addition off of the bench for the team in LA.

Delonte West is a perfect combo guard for the Lakers.  He can back up both guard spots and he plays pretty good defense.  He was very successful last season and could be a big help in getting the Lakers another championship.  The market on West has been pretty light so far, so the veteran minimum should be able to land him.

If the Lakers add West, they will have done a very good job of filling out their roster.  They have shored up the bench and they look like a team without a weakness right now.  Of course, all of this is on paper at the moment.  Until West actually agrees to a deal, it is just speculation.

The best fit for West to win a title is in LA.  No other title contender has offered him so far and he could play a big role with LA for a year and try to get another contract next offseason.  Not exactly a bad plan for the guy.  If West is holding out for a bigger contract, it probably is not out there.

NBA rumors are slowing down but teams can still find good bargains on the market if they look hard enough.

Ryan Anderson Throws Down Savage Dunk On Kobe Bryant

Although Kobe would get the last laugh with the win, his second great performance and the Lakers notched back-to-back wins for just the second time this season, that doesn't stop this Ryan Anderson dunk from being any less disrespectful. Kobe Bryant Rejects Roy Hibbert's High-5 Attempt

Things didn't go swimmingly for the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night against the Chicago Bulls, as they played horribly and lost by 23 points. Kobe Bryant clearly wasn't pleased. When teammate Roy Hibbert attempted to give Bryant a casual high-five, it didn't go over well as an angered Bryant slapped it away in defiance.

Dirk Nails Game-Winner, Gets Love From Kobe

Kobe Bryant wasn't able to lace up for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, but he still managed to make the highlight reels on multiple occasions. This encounter is the definition of the saying 'game recognizes game' as the two players are both legends and future Hall of Famers.
