NBA Chicago Bulls

Chicago Bulls : Derrick Rose Needs To Recruit Players To Win.

Chiacgo Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has lived every kid’s dream. Play for your home town team, win an MVP award and be the most popular player in the world. If there is one thing Rose is chasing it’s an NBA Championship. In an era where super teams are created to win championships, Rose needs to create a super team in Chicago.

Rose is not the type of person that likes to recruit people.“That’s just not me,” he told ESPNChicago.com. “My whole life, I’ve never been the type of player where I’ve recruited people like that.”  If he wants to win championships he has to recruit players.

Rose is the Batman on the Bulls. He does everything on offense and asks for no help from anybody. This approach no longer works in the NBA. Even the league’s best player, LeBron James, had to team up with superstars to win.

Dwyane Wade helped bring both LeBron and Chris Bosh to South Beach; which resulted in the Miami Heat winning the 2012 NBA Championship. Kobe Bryant has enticed long-time bitter rival, Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns, as well as Dwight Howard to join forces on the Los Angeles Lakers. This is what Rose needs to do if he wants to win an NBA Championship.

Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love publicly stated “If I don’t make the playoffs next year I don’t know what will happen.”  If the Timberwolves don’t make the playoffs in 2012-13, does Rose target Love to be Robin to his Batman?

You can’t win in the NBA without superstars. Magic Johnson had Kareem Abdul-Jabbar; Michael Jordan had Scottie Pippen; Kobe had Shaquille O’Neal and Pau Gasol; and Wade had Shaq. The formula has been proven to work.

The way the Bulls team is currently built, it will not succeed in the playoffs, If Derrick Rose does not start recruiting players to Chicago then he will join a long list of NBA legends to never win an NBA championship. Bulls fans can only hope that Derrick Rose starts recruiting players to the Windy City.
