Portland Trail Blazers Sign Free Agent Adam Morrison
Remember when Adam Morrison was the best player in college basketball? Oh man, those were the days. Too bad he could never turn that skill into anything resembling a good professional basketball career. However, Morrison is back after a little bit of an exodus as he has agreed to join the Portland Trail Blazers.

I would imagine that this deal won’t have a huge impact on Portland this year, but Morrison might be able to carve out some minutes off the bench. PDX always ends up having injuries on top of injuries, so there might be a chance for Morrison to get back on the court. If his shooting remains as pure as it was in college, he will be able to play.
Personally, I am glad to see Morrison back in basketball. Believe it or not, he does make things entertaining. A guy who is not afraid to shoot the ball from anywhere on the court is always good to have. Plus, he might be one of the goofiest looking players to ever play basketball. Factor those two things in and you have yourself a great story.
I expect there to be a lot of people cheering for Morrison this year. He really struggled in his first appearances in the league but maybe some age will do him a bit of good. If he still can’t hack it, it’s not like Portland is out a ton on this deal.
