Joakim Noah Spent Time Working With Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Rob Grabowski-US PRESSWIRE

Joakim Noah could be one of the league’s best centers if he ended up with a consistent post move. It looks like the Chicago Bulls star decided to go to post school to learn a move or two and who better than Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to learn from?

This might end up being a great thing for the Bulls and for Noah.  Noah is a very good player but he really is not consistent on offense.  He can sometimes knock down the open jumper but a refined post game will help him become a better overall player.

It might take a bit of time to see all the effects of working with KAJ, but it should pay off this season.  The Bulls are going to need Noah to step up his game while the team treads water until Derrick Rose returns from injury.  If Noah can put up 15 a game, that will certainly be a big help in the long run.

Who knows, this could be exactly what Noah needs to make the All-Star team.  The center spot in the East is not exactly dominant so he has a chance to make the team now.  The Bulls have struggled to have a consistent presence in the ASG, so getting an improved Noah will certainly help with that.
