The Indiana Pacers took a huge step towards returning to championship contention on a regular basis last season, by advancing to the second round of the NBA Playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade. Still, fan attendance at Bankers Life Fieldhouse was almost the worst in the entire league. This season, the Indiana Pacers team and organization will do their best to get the Fieldhouse packed, and to keep the fans in attendance passionate.
For the first time in franchise history, every Indiana Pacers regular season game will be televised locally on basic cable. Nationwide television has also taken notice to this team on the rise, as ESPN and TNT will be broadcasting five of Indiana’s regular season games. Last season, the Pacers had just one non-playoff game on nationwide television, which was an away game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Alongside the 82 regular season games available on cable, the Pacers are offering several promo nights for fans at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. In addition to favorable ticket prices, (with seats as low as ten dollars on a regular basis) the Pacers franchise has announced three separate promo night packages.
The “Two for Tuesday” promo will be in place for six Tuesday night home games, offering fans a buy-one-get-one free ticket opportunity. The 12 Wednesday home games will be Pacers “College Night”. Fans with a valid college ID will get a discounted ticket and a free Pacers gift. There are also eight scheduled “Lucas Oil Family Nights”, which includes a discounted four-pack of tickets. The four-pack also includes a Pacers t-shirt, a Pepsi product, chips, and a hot dog. There is literally something for everyone in these promotions for the 2012-13 Indiana Pacers home games.
