NBA General Managers : Expect A Miami Heat Repeat

According to NBA general managers, the Miami Heat will have another successful season.

In a recent league-wide survey, 70 percent of the GM’s believe that the Heat will repeat as champions, 96.7 percent of the GMs believe that the Heat will three-peat as Eastern Conference champions and 66.7 percent believe that LeBron James will win his fourth MVP award.  Last season 74.1 percent believed that the Heat would win the title, 96.3 percent believed that they would repeat as Eastern Conference champions and 66.7 percent believed that Kevin Durant would win the MVP award.

Surprisingly, James finished as the third best power forward in the league receiving 16.7 percent of the vote behind 23.3 percent for Dirk Nowitzki, and 30 percent for Kevin Love. James finished second for best defensive player receiving 16.7 percent of the vote behind 60 percent for Dwight Howard and was voted as the second best perimeter defender in the league receiving 26.7 percent of the vote behind 33.3 percent for Tony Allen. James was also voted the most athletic player in the league.

The Heat were also voted as the second most fun team to watch and tied for second best home court advantage with the Utah Jazz.

Free agent acquisition, Ray Allen was voted the purest shooter and as the player who moves the best without the ball.

Shane Battier finished second as the player who makes the best of limited ability and Dwyane Wade finished as the second best shooting guard and tied for fourth best at getting his own shot.

The survey of 57 questions, asked to all 30 NBA GMs, appears to predict that the “Big Three” of  Wade, Bosh and James are in the throes of a dominant and prolific run of multiple championships down in South Beach.
