Kenneth Faried was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games Nov. 5th to Nov. 11th, and deservingly so.
After a very disappointing 0-3 start to the season, Faried posted a staggering 16.8 points, 12.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks over the course of the week to lead the Denver Nuggets on a four game win streak.
During that stretch Faried erupted for three straight double-doubles, accompanied by a monster performance in which he scored 18 points, reeled in 17 rebounds, had three blocks and two steals in a double-overtime win over the Golden State Warriors Sunday night.
In proportion to the rest of the league, Faried ranks 6th(10.7) in total rebounds and 2nd(5.6) in offensive rebounds per game. He also ranks 12th in field goal percentage, shooting at .560 a clip so far this year.
Here is a recap of his complete week(stats via NBA.com):
Last Three Games

Not record in that was his performance against the Detroit Pistons, the only game in which he did not record a double-double. He fished the night with 15 points and 8 rebounds on 7 of 10 shooting in only 23 minutes.
He now has season averages of 13.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals. But perhaps the most impressive aspect of his production is the fact he’s posting these kind of numbers in only 29.4 minutes per game.
This week has only helped reassure us of what we already knew. That Kenneth Faried is not only emerging as one of the leagues premier power forwards, but one of it’s most impactful players period.
Faried will look for his fourth straight double-double tonight against the Phoenix Suns.
