Philadelphia 76ers' Additions Coming Up Big

The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a pretty good start, and without Nick Young, Jason Richardson, and Dorell Wright, I don’t think the Sixers would be where they are right now, sitting at a record of 7-5.

After trading away Andre Igudala, Lou Williams, and Jodie Meeks, I questioned who would take over those empty positions, and the Sixers got the perfect guys for the job.

Young, or as I like to call him, Swaggy P (his nickname), has come up clutch for the Sixers. When needing a spark off the bench, or needing that 3-point dagger to close out the game, he’s the man for the job. Not only that, but Young has made some unbelievable 3-pointers, when being way off balance. Even though so far this season, Young has only averaged 10.9 points per game, he has been very productive off the bench, and could possibly win the 6th Man of the Year Award.

Richardson, or J-Rich, has been huge for the Sixers as well. He has been putting his 100 percent effort into everything, and has the passion and heart, wanting to go out there on the court and win every game. So far this season, Richardson has been averaging 13.5 points per game, and has been a very efficient scorer.

Wright has had a pretty slow start to the season, but is a key player to this team. Wright is averaging nine points per game so far this year. He can drain threes and is a very good scorer. He has been chiming in some points here and there to help this team win games.

These great acquisitions have been extremely important to this team’s success and will be very important moving forward in the season.
