Emeka Okafor Catches Falling Fan After Wizards Win

Break up the Washington Wizards! The team picked up their first win of the season Wednesday night so fans were very excited. So excited, in fact, that one of the fans almost ate the pavement of the player tunnel. Luckily for him, Emeka Okafor was in the right spot to catch the falling fan before they hit the ground.

This is not the first time that this has happened this week.  After a big win on Sunday, New York Giants tight end Martellus Bennett caught a falling fan.  Of course, that fan was way too drunk to be standing near anything resembling a rail but still.  It is nice to see we have athletes that are capable of doing the right thing when the situation presents itself.

Even with the win, it is going to be a LONG season in Washington.  The team is trying to trim all the dead branches off of it and it is going to take some time.  They have some talented players but they need to get some more.  Right now, they simply do not have enough talent to compete every single night.

At least for a night, the team can celebrate.  The fans are certainly happy but maybe they need to tone it down just a bit.  No need to almost crash to the ground after one single win.
