New York Knicks Have Problem In Rasheed Wallace

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

The New York Knicks have turned into a team full of players who are at the end of their careers trying to hold on for dear life with the likes of Rasheed Wallace and Jason Kidd on the roster. Wallace this afternoon found himself in the middle of trouble getting ejected just 85 seconds into today’s game against the Toronto Raptors for arguing about a foul call. I think the time has come for Wallace and others to just go away if they can’t keep their mouth shut long enough to avoid being ejected that early in a game.

It is just a shame that a team like the Knicks would have a roster with someone like Wallace on it when it also has Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudamire. Anthony leads the NBA in technical fouls this season with Wallace close behind. Is there really any reason for this team to have two people like that out there? There really isn’t and I wish that players would learn that blowing your mouth off isn’t the way to go. If you don’t like a call, so be it but there is no reason for a five-minute argument about it.

The game is growing more and more out of control. It seems like with players flopping around the basket and any foul call turning into a shouting match. Why can’t players just understand that the job of complaining about a call should be left to the fans? The fans can boo all they want about their team within reason so Wallace and others have to realize that and keep their mouths closed.
