LeBron James wants Charles Barkley to “shut up” about Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade.

Barkley has been very vocal about his beliefs that Wade’s best years are behind him. Recently on TNT, Barkley spoke about how Wade needs to adjust to being less athletic and how he needs to learn how to play under the rim and play well in order for Miami to win another NBA championship. He has been critical about the Heat in the past. He has called out James, Wade, and Chris Bosh for whining in past seasons, and was one of the few who firmly believed that the Heat could only win once they became James’ team.

“The toughest thing when you’re a great player or very athletic, when you can’t jump over a building anymore, you have to learn how to play … He’s starting to lose his athletic ability. He’s not the same guy. I got a look at him in person. He doesn’t explode anymore, and he’s shooting a lot of fade away jumpers,” Barkley said during the Nov. 29 TNT broadcast of the Heat versus the San Antonio Spurs.

Barkley commented again on Wade’s play Thursday night during the Heat’s game against the New York Knicksand since the embarrassing performance, Wade has played superbly. Wade has recorded back-to-back 26 point performances, and has shot 20-for-25 from the field in the last two games. Wade has been criticized by other TV personalities like Stephen A. Smith for his lack of dominance over the last eight months, and while he has not responded to either claims publicly, James responded to the words from Barkley.

“It means Charles Barkley needs to shut up. I mean, the man’s shooting 80 percent from the floor in the last couple games. Come on, man. That’s like crazy, right? That’s why he is who he is. Unbelievable,” James said after the Monday night win against the Atlanta Hawks.

Gerald Green Throws Down Monstrous Slam On Nets

Gerald Green hasn't been the most consistent player throughout the early stages of his young career, but there's no denying his overwhelming athleticism. Against the floundering Brooklyn Nets this evening, Green showcased some of those said abilities by emphatically throwing down a monstrous dunk, and he caught some major air in the process. If he's ever able to learn how to do it night-in and night out, Green is going to be an All-Star one day.
