Can the Phoenix Suns Extend Their 24-Game Home Winning Streak Against Milwaukee Bucks?

(Jennifer Stewart/USA Today Sports)

Thursday’s matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns may not look like the most interesting game at first glance, but here’s a fun fact that could make the game more interesting to watch–a 24-game winning streak between the two clubs is on the line.

The Bucks have lost 24-straight games in Phoenix and with the way the Suns have performed this season–Thursday would be the perfect opportunity to put that pathetic streak to an end for a team that actually looks like a playoff contender this season. In fact, the last time Milwaukee won in Phoenix came on February 21, 1987–which is almost 26 years in the making.

At 13-27, it’s getting to the point where this season is almost a lost cause for the Suns as they just can’t seem to get anything consistent going. As for the Bucks, they’re currently holding on to the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference thanks to a dynamic duo this season consisting of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis.

As mentioned before, Thursday’s game between these two teams may not be that exciting to most fans, but it will be interesting to see if the Bucks can finally put an end to that long losing streak. If they extend the streak to 25-straight games, it will be even more embarrassing for this Milwaukee squad considering how much Phoenix has struggled this season–so let’s just hope that doesn’t happen to be the case on Thursday night.
