Los Angeles Clippers G Jamal Crawford Has Monster Game Against Houston Rockets

It’s been a magical season for the Los Angeles Clippers as they’re quickly becoming the most popular team in the city ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers and on Tuesday, they came through with another big win against the Houston Rockets thanks to an impressive performance by Jamal Crawford.

After displaying average numbers over his last three games, Crawford came through with his best performance of the season against the Rockets as he dropped 30 points–including 12-straight points at one time during the fourth quarter. Los Angeles usually relies on key players such as Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, but Crawford realized how important it was to step up his game since Chris Paul–who is dealing with a knee injury–missed his second-straight game.

If the Clippers can get these types of performances from Crawford off of the bench–Los Angeles could become even more dangerous over the course of the rest of the regular season. Los Angeles finally got over the hump last season by advancing to the second-round of the playoffs and with the way things are going this year, there’s a good chance they could be one of the top contenders to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.

Crawford’s performance on Tuesday shows what he’s capable of when it comes to scoring points and with a lineup like the Clippers–there’s no reason why this team shouldn’t be considered dangerous with All-Star Weekend right around the corner.
