That Kyrie Irving draft choice is working out pretty well for the Cleveland Cavaliers so far.

Last season, the No. 1 overall draft pick won the Rookie of the Year award, and this season Irving has been named to the NBA All-Star Team. The team was announced on Thursday, and Irving deserved his spot among the All-Star reserves.

The 6-3 point guard out of Duke is averaging 23.7 points per game this season, which makes him the third-highest scorer in the Eastern Conference and the highest-scoring point guard in the league.

And while he is scoring a lot of points, Irving is shooting a solid 47 percent from the floor and is passing out 5.7 assists per game. He is also averaging 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.

Irving is one of just two Eastern Conference players to score 40 or more points twice this season. The other player is Carmelo Anthony from the New York Knicks.

In addition, only two players in the Eastern Conference are currently averaging more than 20 points and five assists per game, and both of them were drafted by the Cavaliers. The other, LeBron James, now plays for the Miami Heat but may be back in Cleveland playing with Irving in a few years.

While Cavaliers fans can speculate all they want about James coming back to Cleveland in the future, they are already enjoying watching the exciting Irving playing for the Wine and Gold now.

Irving has great stats, but he also does a lot of things that don’t show up in the stat sheet.

First of all, he is a big-time player in the fourth quarter who wants to take shots in important moments. He is great at driving to the rim and finishing, but he also has a very good jump shot.

The point guard is also a dynamic player who wants to run the floor and get other players involved in the offense.

On defense, he is a very active and can get steals when the team needs them. He is also improving as a defender, just as he is improving in many different facets of his game.

Irving is known as someone who works hard and is doing whatever he can to help the team win. The Cavaliers only have a record of 11-32 this season, but Irving and the other young players make the games exciting. The Cavaliers have lost an awful lot of close games this season, and they are learning what it takes to become a winning team in the NBA.

Even while the Cavaliers are losing, though, they still have a player who fans love to watch and who makes the games fun. Irving is one of the best guards in the NBA and is definitely a star. It’s nice to see him officially named an NBA All-Star.
