It appears the Houston Rockets are finally going to get troubled power forward Royce White back in action soon. The 2012 first-round draft pick suffers from an anxiety disorder that has caused truckloads of problems between him and the team, but it now appears the two sides have finally come to an agreement as White is set to report to the D-League on Feb. 11.

White and the organization eventually came to a stalemate after he demanded accommodations for his disorder, which went completely and totally unheeded. Things got worse when White tweeted some not-so-nice things about the team and the Rockets have been wishy washy about the whole bit on their end from the beginning.

You can’t really go by the he-said, she-said nonsense, but the rumor was some members of the Rockets’ brass don’t believe White’s condition is real, which would make anyone who suffers from such a disorder very unhappy. But now that he’s set to return, he can actually help the Rockets on the court, which will be a welcome site to Houston fans, granted this return goes smoothly.

Everybody and their dog has been talking about hypothetical trade options for the Rockets to acquire a big man to make their own Big Three with Jeremy Lin and James Harden and while White wouldn’t fit the role of a Kevin Garnett or Dwight Howard, he can definitely make due for the time being and allow the Rockets to see what their realistic options are going forward. In short, it’s great to see this guy back in action, but this thing is far from over.
