Rajon Rondo Suffers Torn ACL; Out For Season
Rajon Rondo may be an enigma but he is an enigma that is incredible on the basketball court. The Boston Celtics depend on him to make things work, which means the latest news about him is not good. The star point guard will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Hopefully Rondo can bounce back from this injury. If he has surgery soon, there is a chance that he could return for the start of next season. That is an optimistic look but it is something that could happen. However, I would expect him to miss a couple months of time.
As for the Celtics, I think this means the team gets blown up. They are not going to go to the playoffs this year. There is no point in keeping the aging roster together. It is time to start moving some pieces and building for the future when the team is truly Rondo’s. Of course, his injury makes it hard to predict what is going to happen in the future, but he should be able to return to his old self.
This is a big blow for the team and for basketball fans in general. I personally can not stand Rondo but I respect his game. He is a really fun player to watch, even if he can drive you insane.
Hurry back, Rajon. Basketball just isn’t the same without you.
