Phoenix Suns Need More Than Goran Dragic

Goran Dragic is in his fourth season in the National Basketball Association and at age 26, Dragic is experiencing a career year for the Phoenix Suns even with the team being as bad as they are this season. Dragic is scoring over 14 points a game after averaging just nine points a game before this season. Phoenix needed a new starting point guard after trading away Steve Nash and Dragic has filled in perfectly so far.

The Suns are just 17-33 this season and Dragic has been one of the few consistent players that Phoenix has had this year. Hopefully Dragic will continue to improve for the Suns so the team can get out of their present funk because it is not pretty right now in Phoenix. It has to be a positive to get a player who scores over 14 points and has over six assists per game. It is very similar to what Nash did if on a smaller scale. No one is going to be as good as Nash but Dragic is doing his best to be close.

The Suns need all the help they can get and maybe they can get some help in the draft this coming June because Dragic can’t do it all himself. This season is going to be all about Dragic though and if he can play the same way he has for the first 50 games this year, Phoenix can hopefully not finish with the worst record in the league. That would be an epic disaster for the Suns.
