The Oklahoma City Thunder are dominating teams these days and taking names. The Thunder may be the best team in the league, but they won’t be content until they complete their ultimate goal: win the NBA title.

The Thunder just got done dismantling another opponent as they took care of the Phoenix Suns 97-69 on Sunday night– a rare feat by holding an NBA team under 70 points.

This is the second time in the past week that the Thunder took care of the Suns, beating them handily on Friday, 127-96.

Are the Thunder the best team in the NBA? This point may be argued, but they very well could be. They currently have the second-best record in the league and lead the Northwest Division by a healthy 6.5 games.

Talent-wise, the Thunder may be the scariest team from top to bottom in the league. They have the top scorer in the NBA in Kevin Durant, arguably the best point guard in the league in Russell Westbrook, one of the best bench players in the league with Kevin Martin and a solid big man in Serge Ibaka.

Oklahoma City averages the most points per game in the league(106.4) and are in the top half of the league in team defense. They win every game by an average of 10 points and have lost two games in a row just once this season.

This could be the year Durant and the Thunder finally overcome a tough Western Conference and win the NBA title.
