Well, well, well. In what was an overall boring BBVA challenge between Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley‘s team, Kyrie Irving brought some serious entertainment in the game.
In the fourth quarter, Kyrie decided to go straight at Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight,
and, well, Brandon Knight attempted to go right back at Kyrie, but it just wasn’t the same.
This also happened:
And Chris Webber‘s “oh no no no no” commentary after makes the move ten times better than it already is.
Everyone knows that Kyrie Irving has one of the best handles in the NBA, and he’s one of the best point guards in the NBA. His Cleveland Cavaliers doesn’t get a lot of television time, but die-hard NBA fans find ways to watch Irving, and he’s making himself known in everyone’s household.
Entering his second season, he’s playing in what will be first of many All-Star games and at the young age of 20, he’s arguably a top-five point guard in the NBA right now.
This may create a little rivalry between the two young point guards. The Cavs take on the Pistons on April 10th and though both teams are probably going to be lottery-bound by the end of the season, the duel between the two gives everyone something to look at. It won’t be a surprise if the two players guard each other the entire game.
Brandon Knight can’t be happy about this though, and could be looking to dish out some payback in a move of his own.
