Is Michael Jordan Seriously Considering A Comeback?

If you happened to be trapped under a rock the last week or so, Michael Jordan celebrated his 50th birthday on Sunday. The Charlotte Bobcats owner has also started up some interesting rumors. People are starting to whisper about his possible return to playing in the NBA.

Well, this is certainly interesting.  We all know that Jordan is a freak when it comes to competition. If there is any 50 year old on the planet who could play some minutes in the league, it would be him. It might take him a bit to get back into shape, but it is is possible. Remember, he recently beat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a game of 1-on-1. You know, the same MKG who was the second pick in last year’s draft.

I personally don’t think that Jordan is going to come back, but I can see a scenario or two in which it would work out.  He would end up playing limited minutes, but I bet the man could still score. You won’t be able to get more than 10 to 15 minutes out of him, but I bet he could score at least 10 points in those minutes.

Jordan is the best player to ever play the game. If he manages to come back, it would certainly be one of the stranger things to happen in recent memory. Either way, it certainly gives us something to talk about.
