I guess there is something wrong with the Sacramento Kings. The team is probably moving cities soon, but that has not stopped them from doing stupid things. They have agreed to send rookie Thomas Robinson to the Houston Rockets.
Sacramento has traded forward Thomas Robinson to the Houston Rockets, league source tells Y Sports.

This is just a stupid move. How can you bail on a rookie this soon? I had Robinson as one of the best players coming out of that draft class and moving him does not help the team in the future. Heck, it does not even help them now. He is a guy that they could have built around, but I guess they wanted to try something else. In fact, here is the entire deal.
Kings send T. Robinson, F. Garcia, T. Honeycutt to Houston for Toney Douglas, Cole Aldrich, Patrick Patterson & cash, USAT has learned.

The Rockets, of course, come out ahead here. They come out ahead on almost every single deal that they do. It is the MO of the franchise and it does not look to be changing anytime soon. If you can get a guy like Robinson, you know you are doing something right. He is a solid power forward that is only going to get better as he gets used to this level of play.
I just don’t see why the Kings are doing something like this. If you can explain it to me, I’d love to hear it. You should be keeping your young pieces, not selling them off. This is just another move by a front office that has no idea what they want the team to look like.
