Against one of the best teams in the NBA, Nikola Vucevic showed what an incredible rebounder he can be with the Orlando Magic.

Vucevic has been showing his rebounding credentials all season. He’s averaging 12.2 points and also 11.4 rebounds a game while dishing out almost two assists per game.

His rebounding has been outstanding.

It was outstanding Friday night when the Magic gave the Oklahoma City Thunder  a battle before losing 117-104. Vucevic had another double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds to help his team chop a 27-point Thunder lead in the first half to four late in the game.

Vucevic was a sight to behold with his performance. He gave his squad nearly 42 strong minutes and was 8-of-15 from the floor and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. He grabbed 11 defensive and three offensive rebounds while also having a steal.

The Thunder lost, but for Vucevic and his teammates, it was a fun night and showed his team’s potential.

The Magic have to feel good about Vucevic and the poise he demonstrates with his play inside the paint. He continues to shoot very well with a 52.2 percent clip from the floor. He’s been averaging 32.6 minutes a game so the Magic coaches were ecstatic to watch him play very well for an extended period of time against a quality opponent like the Thunder.

He has started 65 games for the Magic and has improved so much from his season last year with the Philadelphia 76ers when he averaged 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds a game.
