Last night Dwyane Wade tried out a new field of work, as he took over and conducted the postgame interview with LeBron James.

Wade took a night off from playing basketball last night, resting his minor knee injury. His contribution was not needed, as the Miami Heat ran a mediocre Charlotte Bobcats team out of the building, winning by 32 points.

He was present at the game, looking as fresh as ever in a fashionable white suit and grey tie. But looking good was simply not enough for the nine-time NBA All-Star.

LeBron provided the nightly notable performance, scoring 32 points, dishing out 10 assists and grabbing eight rebounds, while sitting out the majority of the fourth quarter. As expected, he was lined up for a postgame interview.

Jason Jackson generally conducts postgame interviews when the Heat are playing at home, but this time Wade wanted to have a go. In the somewhat comical sequence, he asked Jackson for some assistance, only to push him away seconds later.

At the beginning of the interview, Mike Miller appeared in the background, offering James a towel. It was all going well, until the inevitable took place.

A Heat postgame interview would not be complete without a Chris Bosh photobomb, and it did not take long for Mr. Bosh to make an entrance. After an an awkward attempt to reenact a tile break with a towel, he exited the floor.

When asking his question, Wade emphasized the fact the the Heat were missing a superstar in the lineup, and LeBron made sure to stroke his teammate’s ego just a little bit with his answer.

Here is the video evidence.

This amusing sequence is just further proof of the excellent mood in Miami right now.
