Phoenix Suns Currently On a Five Game Skid after Loss To Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers edged into the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference Saturday night by knocking off the Phoenix Suns 112-104.

And the Suns? They are now currently on a five game losing streak. They almost seem like they are playing for ping ping balls.

The Pacers? They like the position they are in and think they can make a playoff push.

“We’ve got the DNA, the whole make-up to make a great run. We’re big inside. We [have] got guys who can create and make shots. Our defense is amazing,” said Paul George.

George led the game with 25 points and Roy Hibbert chipped in 20 points as well. The Suns kept it close, but couldn’t close it out when it came to crunch time.

“There are no moral victories, but when you are traveling down the road we are traveling you have to get small victories out of tough times. I think tonight we got a lot of small victories. That is a champhionship-caliber team over there. We fought them toe to toe right up until the end,” said Suns coach Lindsey Hunter

George is having a phenomenal season. He is the only player in the league averaging 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.75 steals. “Paul George is a phenomenal talent, a budding superstar,” Hunter said.

If the Pacers can secure the number two seed in the East, then they would have home field advantage against everyone in the East, except for the LeBron James’ crew in South Beach. It sure seems like that’s where we’re headed.
