2013 NBA Playoffs: Bad Habits of Miami Heat Assure Broken Promises

It’s officially going to be tough for the Milwaukee Bucks to win in six. As a matter of fact some one should tell Brandon Jennings that it’s impossible now — although the Miami Heat tried their hardest to make it happen. They even spotted them a 10-point lead and played sloppy.

Dwyane Wade got off to a predictably slow start in the Bradley Center, but his knee took the blame. Either way he couldn’t hit a shot. And for a while, Chris Bosh couldn’t hit a shot. Then the defense couldn’t get a stop and the Heat still won by double digits. It’s like they were toying with them.

The Bucks tried though. They played desperate while Miami jogged through three quarters — which was a dangerous way to play, but more dangerous for who?

“They didn’t get shaken, rattled by us playing hard,” Larry Sanders said (via ESPN.com). “When they started playing harder, we got shaken…”

The Heat seemed too comfortable playing from behind and teasing them with the cheese until the trap snapped. And all hope was gone. Jennings’ prediction had fallen to Miami’s bad habits as they dropped to 0-3.

With Wade looking iffy but the pine riders playing strong, Miami looks like they could sleepwalk their way to a sweep and possibly get the pessimists to go home.
