Name: Bojan Dubljevic
Age: 21
Height: 6-foot-10
Position: Power Forward
School/Country: Valencia (Montenegro)
Latest Stats: 13.3 ppg, 4.8 rpg
Bojan Dubljevic is an original native of Montenegro, but he spent this past season playing with Valencia in the Liga ACB (Spain). At 6-foot-10, Dubljevic is an intriguing prospect given his offensive ability. Dubljevic can step out and shoot the three ball, but he can also get to the rim and finish inside. During his last professional season with Valencia, Dubljevic averaged 13.3 points per game and that production came in just 21 minutes per contest during the Eurocup. When Dubljevic gets going, he can light up the score column.
Dubljevic could have the potential to be a steal simply based off his production, but his draft hype is certainly not through the roof. He will be 22 years old by the start of the 2013-14 NBA regular season, so if Dubljevic hears his name called it will come in latter portion of the second round.
Strengths: Dubljevic has great size for someone who can step out and shoot the three ball. At 6-foot-10, he can certainly lure slower defenders away from the hoop. Dubljevic has the ability to be very productive on the offensive end, regardless of his minutes played.
Weaknesses: Dubljevic began his professional career in Europe in 2009, so although he has some experience, his upside isn’t through the roof. In fact, Dubljevic may have already reached his ceiling.
Draft Projection: Mid-to-Late Second Round
