Kenny Kadji is an interesting NBA prospect. For starters, he will be 25 years old by the time the 2013 NBA Draft kicks off in late June. Kadji began his collegiate career at Florida in 2008, but after two lackluster seasons in Gainesville, he made the decision to transfer to Miami (FL). Kadji has revitalized his hype and potential in two seasons with the Hurricanes and in turn, he will have the opportunity to hear his named called in the latter portion of the second round.

Kadji has great size at 6-foot-11 and is listed as a power forward. He loves to play physical and he has the size and toughness to bang and attack the glass. Kadji also showed an increasing range in 2012-13, averaging 3.7 three point attempts during the 2012-13 season. Kadji is certainly no guarantee to be drafted, but if he can impress in pre-draft workouts, he might have the opportunity to hear his name called.

Strengths: At 6-foot-11, 245 lbs., Kadji is a force down low. He has increasing mobility for someone of his size and can step out and knock down threes. Kadji is a physical specimen who really helped anchor a loaded Miami front court in 2012-13. Kadji can finish around the rim particularly well and is not afraid to take contact and get to the free throw line.

Weaknesses: Kadji needs to be more assertive inside. Given his size and physicality, he should demand the ball more in the paint. Kadji needs to establish himself as a better rebounder at the NBA level. He will be 25 years old by draft night, which makes him older than six-year NBA veteran Kevin Durant, for example. His upside is very limited.

Draft Projection: Late Second Round to Undrafted
