Debby Wong-USA Today Sports

Name: Peyton Siva

Age: 22

Height: 6-foot

Position: Point Guard

School/Country: Louisville

Latest Stats: 10.0 ppg, 5.7 apg, 2.4 rpg, 2.3 spg

Louisville point guard Peyton Siva has concluded his senior season with a National Championship and now his next endeavor is taking his talents to the professional level. At this point however, it remains to be seen what level that will be — Siva does not have the greatest of NBA upside, but he might have a chance to hear his name called in the latter portion of the second round.

Siva averaged 10.0 points and 5.7 assists per game this past season, but he is more well known for his floor general and leadership skills. Siva is undersized at just 6-feet tall and he’s certainly not the greatest of offensive threats. Siva has shown the ability to run a team at the point guard position and be a leader — two characteristics that were on display throughout the Cardinals’ run to the national championship.

Strengths: Siva is an excellent passer and he has shown great leadership skills in the past. He can run an offense and is good at finding his teammates. Siva can penetrate the lane and get the rim, while also taking contact and getting to the free throw line.

Weaknesses: Siva is undersized at just 6-feet and he’s certainly not the most gifted offensive threat. Siva averaged 10 points per game this past season and that was the first time in his four year career that he had eclipsed double-digits. Siva needs to be more efficient on offense, especially on the perimeter where he has shot less than 30% for his entire career.

Draft Projection:  Late Second Round to Undrafted
