We are under a month away from the start of the 2013 NBA Draft and the rumors surrounding this upcoming off-season are only beginning to swirl. The Orlando Magic didn’t win many games this year and then they couldn’t hold the top spot in the NBA Draft Lottery either, being forced back to the No. 2 slot for this upcoming June.

Now, regardless of position, the Magic have options with the No. 2 pick and while they could make the decision to trade the selection, they may just play it safe and select one of the top targets on the board. Either way, it appears that they could be leaning towards bolstering their back court with the addition of a high-flying shooting guard.

At this point, it looks like the Magic may be leaning towards either Ben McLemore or Victor Oladipo with the No. 2 pick:

As the aforementioned tweet indicates, the Magic want Eric Bledsoe and a potential deal between Orlando and the Los Angeles Clippers was reportedly being discussed. However, nothing has emerged from that initial rumor, at this time.

As you can see below, the Clippers could be more patient with Bledsoe this month with free agency nearing in July:

If the Magic do keep the pick, McLemore or Oladipo would be fine selections. There are no projected superstars in this year’s field, but either addition would certainly add some youth and athleticism in Orlando’s back court.
