The Boston Celtics rumors just continue to heat up.

On Thursday evening, two more names were linked to the team’s off-season plans and one of them might just be the viable option atop the decision board for Danny Ainge. The Utah Jazz could potentially be losing Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap this off-season, as both will enter the free agent market when July rolls around.

According to reports, both Jazz forwards could be on the Celtics’ radar this summer.

According to the aforementioned tweet, Jackie MacMullen told CSNNE that Millsap is a hot commodity in Boston and he very well could be the team’s top target this off-season. In fact, both Millsap and Jefferson are two of eight unrestricted free agents that will potentially be leaving Utah, so the options are open for pickings.

It’s an interesting target, especially considering that the Celtics are expected to return both Brandon Bass and a healthy Jared Sullinger for the 2013-14 season, so it’s tough to ponder what the 6-foot-8 Millsap would bring to table outside of simply bolstering a weak front court rotation. And of course, the team is awaiting the potential decision of Kevin Garnett, as well.

While Millsap is certainly an option, so too is Jefferson, who has donned a Celtics’ uniform in the past:

Millsap and Jefferson will be two more names that Boston fans will want to keep an eye upon this off-season.
