San Antonio Spurs superstar forward Tim Duncan is performing at one of the highest levels we have ever seen an aged veteran play in the postseason – and he may be doing it with a lot on his mind.

In March of 2013, Duncan’s wife Amy filed for divorce. Last week, rumor had it that Duncan requested to postpone the divorce until after his Spurs’ season was over. According to the Huffington Post, the request also reveals that the couple has a prenup that Duncan would like to be enforced.

The biggest news surrounding the entire situation? A few days ago, the San Antonio Express reported that Duncan hired a private investigator to follow his wife around… A year ago.

The outcome of this investigation has not been released – that should not come as a shock, we’re dealing with a man of few words and one of the more significant life events he has encountered. Whatever has been going on behind the scenes, though, has not prevented Duncan from turning the clock back during the Playoffs.

The future Hall of Fame forward has put up 17.8 points on 46% shooting from the field, 9.2 rebounds and nearly two blocks per game throughout the 2013 NBA Playoffs.

The Spurs will face either the Indiana Pacers or Miami Heat as the Eastern Conference Finals wrap up tonight with a crucial game seven. Either team will be an entertaining matchup for Duncan and his well-rested team. As for the matter at hand, momentarily, Duncan also appears to be well-rested to deal with that later.
