Kobe Bryant Showing Improvement, Posts Instagram Pictures Shooting Free-Throws

Mark J. Rebilas–USA TODAY Sports

Kobe Bryant took to his Instagram account today to show us all how he’s steadily improving from Achilles tendon surgery last April. Bryant’s shown at the free-throw line looking pretty good.

Bryant also took to his Twitter account to congratulate the Miami Heat on winning back to back titles, gave a shout-out to former Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach and former teammate Brian Shaw for getting the head coaching job with the Denver Nuggets, and used the hasthtag #6obession to remind us all how determined he is to get back on the court. Bryant is undoubtedly one of the hardest workers in the league — nobody will out-work him and nobody will out-prepare him. He inserted hashtag #showuagain as another reminder to all the doubters and naysayers on how they will be eating their words. Bryant was hopeful he could return for opening day, but as of recently, a November or December return seems likely. The Lakers will need the Black Mamba regardless on how this crazy free agency period with the Dwight Howard saga turns out.

Regardless of who’s playing alongside Bryant, you can always count on him to get you in the playoffs. He proved that to everyone after emphatically guaranteeing it last season.

Bryant has always been known as an athlete who likes to protect his privacy. It’s been extremely fascinating to see him use social media to keep us and the media simultaneously updated through his Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts. Kobe is taking us all on this exciting journey, and we will all be hoping he comes back stronger than ever.
