Oklahoma City Thunder Pulling at Loose Straws with Interest in Mike Miller

Well, Sam Presti sure made a mess of things here. He traded away James Harden apparently picking Serge Ibaka and Russell Westbrook over Harden. The error of that decision has been fully chronicled and now it has resulted in this. Kevin Martin bolted town for more money and now Presti has Kevin Durant reaching out to Mike Miller. Should that ever be happening really? How fast did it happen that this was a destination city and now no one wants to go there. Losing Harden put them on a downward slide that most should have expected but it appeared few were ready for.

They still have their core players, but it is unclear how they will get out of the West next year. The whole rest is pretty improved with the exception of the boys in La La land. The window may be closed for Durant in the immediate future and it would not shock me one day if he sought out greener pastures. There are a number of quality teams out there who would be interested if Durant was willing to make some concessions, but that remains to be seen.

Anyways the Thunder really screwed the pooch on this one and they cost us another year of seeing what Harden could have done with one more complete playoff run.
