Memphis Grizzlies Should Meet New Rival Los Angeles Clippers Again In Playoffs

The Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies have started an interesting playoff rivalry that could continue down the line. Here is hoping that they meet again next year. This past season the Grizzlies eliminated the Clippers in dramatic fashion that must have truly hurt Vinny Del Negro.

The season before that, the Clippers bounced the Grizzlies in seven games. Could this be the start of a legitimate playoff rivalry? Here is hoping so. Let me just get this off my chest first and foremost. I love Marc Gasol’s game; I do not like his overall emotional court manner, I honestly think he whines too much. But I love the way he plays the center position other than when he is reacting to foul calls. Gasol can shoot the ball from fifteen feet out, he can handle, and most importantly he can pass.

I would take him over Dwight Howard on my team any day of the week, and that is a fact. At least his team can know that Gasol would be loyal to them. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will stand in the way of the Grizzlies for the foreseeable future and here is hoping the Grizzlies take the leap to a truly elite team and challenge the Clippers playoff run next year.

Paul and Griffin are about the two greatest whiners and floppers combo in NBA history, and you complain about Gasol?
