Seeing Anthony Davis’ work in the USA minicamp was impressive. That play where he caught a block one handed, dribbled the ball up the court like a point guard and then dunked it like a slasher was impressive indeed.
help me out fellas… who will be an all star first? Damian Lillard Or Anthony Davis?

He showed on that play how much he has improved as a ball handler and also as a shot blocker. This is young man who could one day lead the league in blocked shots, so do not be surprised if that happens one day. His improvements this summer will be evident next season and I’m predicting here that he will be an All Star next season barring injury which my gut tells me will not happen in a major way for Davis next season.

In any case this young center’s development will be fascinating to watch. It is a shame that we never got to see him and Nerlens Noel play together, but maybe that is a pipedream that we can save for the future. Who knows what could happen. One thing is certain though, Davis will be a multiple All Star in the league and expect it to start next season.
