Golden State Warriors' David Lee Says He is Healthy

The lone All-Star for the Golden State Warriors, David Lee, missed most of the team’s exciting playoff run last year due to a torn hip flexor.

The Warriors are looking to improve upon last year and be a true contender. To do that they will need Lee to be healthy and apparently that is the case. According to Contra Costa Times, Lee is 100 percent healthy and ready to go for training camp. Even better than being ready he could be in the best shape of his life. “I actually feel a lot better than I did even last year at this time.” Lee told reporters.

This is good news for Golden State fans, especially with health being a big concern with this team. Stephen Curry has had repeated problems with his ankles and the defensive center Andrew Bogut has struggled with a lot of various injuries. Also, young center Festus Ezeli will miss the beginning of the season after having knee surgery.

This team can truly be scary when they are all healthy. Lee along with Curry, newly acquired All-Star Andre Iguodala, Bogut, and the young core can be a great team.

It is the time of the year where every player is feeling great and has lost some crazy amount of weight, so it might be a little hard to believe players. We will see if Lee’s health holds up throughout the long season, but he has been relatively healthy his career and should be able to revert to full form. If this is the case the Warriors are in a great position to succeed.
