When Tony Parker hit that shot in game one of the Finals last June, initially thought it was going to be the iconic moment of the series. Well, we all know what happened after that. The San Antonio Spurs blew game six in just horrible fashion with Ray Allen hitting one of the clutches shots in playoff history and then screaming for them to take the championship ropes off the court.

For the Spurs to be in contention next season, Parker will need to come back an even more dynamic player and Kawhi Leonard’s role will definitely need to increase as well.
For power forward Tim Duncan, it has been a strange and probably upsetting offseason to be sure. His divorce was finalized in August and there have been whispers of a former friend from college with whom Duncan has had a possibly intimate relationship, but I’ll leave that one to TMZ. In any case, I would expect all these ugly distractions to cause Duncan to fall even more in love with basketball then he already is, so look for some inspired play next season.
Just going to type the rest of my articles while watching Pardon the Interruption, and patiently wait to see what Parker has added to his game this coming season.
