Philadelphia 76ers Evan Turner Has Huge Opportunity to Produce Next Season
Watched Grantland’s preview of the Philadelphia 76ers today and it was quite excellent. Bill Simmons was in fully relaxed form which I always love to see and Jalen Rose is just relaxed all the time so you know I love him too.
They contend that the 76ers will be one of the top two worst teams in the league, but they could miss out on being one of the losingest teams in league history. That probably comes as small consolation to Sixers fans out there, but it was clear when they traded for Nerlens Noel and gave up an All Star caliber point guard. This team is going for the toilet bowl this season, and that means more lottery balls. Bowls and balls. That should be the 76ers motto next season. Maybe they can even print it up on a t-shirt and hand it out to the poor saps who go to opening day.

Sorry Sixers fans, do not mean to kick you while you are down. But if I were you? Just avoid your team on league pass next season and pray for a chance at landing Andrew Wiggins.
That would be a major turnaround for the franchise, but in the meantime Evan Turner is going to play probably forty minutes a night. That will give him ample opportunity to prove himself as a player, or show that he is still in need of improvement. Think it will fall more on the latter, but that is another topic for another day.
