Phoenix Suns Center Marcin Gortat Aware He Is On Trade Block

Mark J. Rebilas- USA TODAY Sports

Center Marcin Gortat has always been one of those pretty good, but not great players. Players like that are often mentioned in trade talks and that is just the nature of the league as it currently goes.

Gortat is taking a mature approach to the situation though, and he is to be commended for it He knows he is in trade speculation, but he is trying to help the Suns young talent grow before he goes.

What a class act. A more immature player would have thrown a fit or talked behind peoples backs to the media, but not Gortat. He has accepted the obstacles and complications that life has to offer and he said, “Okay, I can deal with that.”

Then makes the best of it.

Here is hoping Gortat ends up on a team that is not tanking and actually in need of his services, because there are plenty out there who could use a quality center. Lord knows the Phoenix Suns want to have a horrible record next season and trading Gortat might just be the final nail in that coffin of purposefully awful decision making. Karma is real though folks, and it makes me wonder if the Suns will regret their actions in the end. We will not know further until we see where the ping pong balls land folks.

Watch Suns' Morris Attack His Own Teammate Goodwin

Just when it looked like Markieff Morris was ready to put all of the shenanigans behind him and focus on basketball, he does something stupid again. This time, he got so infuriated with teammate Archie Goodwin that he attacked him inside the Suns' timeout huddle. He not only shoved him, but he attempted to choke Goodwin which is way over the line.

Archie Goodwin Hits Epic Game-Winning Three

The Phoenix Suns are legit playing without five or six important members of their rotation currently, so guys who don't normally make the highlight reels are getting an incredible amount of playing time. This is the case for Archie Goodwin, who started at point guard in Brandon Knight's absence and hit this improbable three with time running out to cement a 98-95 win. Things haven't been go swimmingly in Phoenix this season, so it was awesome to see Suns fans and players alike enjoy this hard-fought win.
