Combo guard Victor Oladipo had childhood heros just like the rest of us right? Well one of his was Tracy McGrady and the newest addition to the Orlando Magic recently got to meet his hero. Shoutout to the Orlando Sentinel for letting us all know about this on twitter, and here is hoping that Oladipo cherishes the moments like this.

McGrady retired from the NBA, but could make an appearance in China. That remains to be seen, but you know that we will keep an eye on it if he does. He had a career to remember and it is a damn shame that last year was the closest he ever came to a championship. If only Ray Allen just was not a stone cold murderer, then we could be talking about a whole different career for McGrady.
Bill Simmons recently picked Oladipo to win rookie of the year, and have to agree there. It will be interesting to see how he will work at point guard though, and it may result in a high turnover level. He seems to be a natural shooting guard, but this is definitely something to keep an eye on.
It is too bad Oladipo never got to play against McGrady, but I’m sure the young man was glad to meet a hero.
