San Antonio Spurs Air Open Scrimmage, Hope To Bury Old Playoff Wounds This Year
The San Antonio Spurs today aired their open scrimmage online, and it is just an amazing world we live in folks. Do not ever take it for granted. For my younger readers, that definitely would not have been a possibility ten or even five years ago and the accessibility of the technology era is a perk that I could get used to, especially as a person who works in media. Shout out to the tweet below for letting everyone know about this below.

The Spurs suffered a huge blow last season when a late lead in game 6 disappeared after a late Ray Allen three pointer sent the game to OT. We all know what happened after that, and apparently it has been haunting most of the Spurs for the whole offseason. They assume it will go away once the season tips off, but we will see about that.
The only true remedy for them would be a chance at another title. That window likely closes for a bit after Tim Duncan retires, but the greatest power forward of all time has given no indication that day is in near future. You never know what can happen with injuries, but the Western conference is as loaded as ever this year.
