The San Antonio Spurs came within seconds of winning the NBA championship last season and will look to finish the job this year. Spurs tickets have a home average of $132, a 40% increase over the $94 average last season. The top games on the Spurs home schedule feature some playoff contenders in the Western Conference and one team from the East.

1) 3/6/14 vs Miami Heat | Avg Price: $320 | Get-in Price: $63

Of course a rematch of the 2013 NBA Finals against the Heat is the most in demand ticket for the Spurs’ season. This average ticket price for this game is 142% over the home average for Spurs games this season. This will be the second meeting of these two teams in 2013-14, with San Antonio visiting Miami on January 26.

2) 4/16/14 vs Los Angeles Lakers | Avg Price: $232 | Get-in Price: $47

The Lakers might not be constructed like the Lakers of the past, but tickets to their games are still selling like the old Lakers. This Friday night game’s average price is 76% above the home average. The Spurs were 2-1 against the Lakers last season, but L.A. is now without Dwight Howard, who averaged 19.5 points and 16.0 rebounds in the two games he played against the Spurs.

3) 12/25/13 vs Houston Rockets | Avg Price: $209 | Get-in Price: $33

The Spurs will take on the division rival Rockets during the NBA’s traditional slate of games on Christmas Day. San Antonio was 3-1 against Houston last season, but Howard is now a member of the Rockets. This game with a 7:00PM local time start is 58% above the average price for 2013-14 games at AT&T Center.

4) 1/22/14 vs Oklahoma City Thunder | Avg Price: $208 | Get-in Price: $33

This primetime matchup between two of the best teams in the Western Conference is 58% above the home game average. The Spurs and Thunder split four games last season with Tim Duncan averaging 17.3 points and 8.0 rebounds and seven total blocks in those four games. These teams have finished the season 1-2 in the Western Conference for the past two seasons and will feature two of the best players in the NBA in Duncan and Oklahoma City small forward Kevin Durant.

5) 1/4/14 vs Los Angeles Clippers | Avg Price: $178 | Get-in Price: $25

The Spurs also split four games against the Clippers in 2013-14, with San Antonio barely outscoring Los Angeles in average points, 97.8-97.5. All indications point to a close game, which should be well worth the $25 get-in price. The Saturday night game is currently 39% above the price of an average home game.

San Antonio has one of the best home crowds in the NBA, ranking fifth in total attendance last season, which will continue to put a premium on Spurs tickets for the top games in 2013-14.
