Well this could come as bad news to Indiana Pacers fans, but it seems point guard George Hill suffered a mild ankle sprain in their loss to the Houston Rockets. Here is hoping that Hill is fully recovered by the start of the year, because he showed some flashes of a special developing game last May.

That is why his health is so important to the Pacers, and you can read more about that below in the recap piece of the Rockets game. Hill has drawn rave reviews all over the league, and he is best suited for his role with the Pacers.

What are the Pacers chances without Hill though? They have little hope of even making the playoffs, so sending out good thoughts here that he will have a full recovery accounting for a truly packed Eastern Conference. LeBron James’ fist bump to his teammate probably seems a mile away now, and you have to wonder if the Pacers has thought back to that day at all. It is going to be a super interesting season y’all, and a packed Eastern conference to be sure. In any case, we are all hoping Hill can produce for the Pacers often next season and you can bet that we will all be tuning in.
