Portland Trail Blazers C.J. McCollum to Have Non-Surgical Procedure on Foot Injury
When Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum suffered a broken foot it was initiall thought he would miss at least six weeks after surgery.
It appears that there is a non surgical option however that could have him back on the floor even sooner than that.
“I’ve been through this process, as you would know, and I’ve done a lot of independent research on my own,” McCollum explained to CSNNW.com. “With the type of crack that I have, I didn’t think it was necessary to take that next step and have a surgical procedure. My doctor agreed and he thought it was for my best interest to not take that route right now. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next with this process.”
Intially saw the news below, and hoping that we can see him out on the floor with his team before the end of November. That would be huge for the Blazers who would boast quite an explosive back court if the former Lehigh standout can get back to full form.

McCollum wants to be a writer one day, and if he would ever like a position with Rant then I’d be happy to put him in touch with my superiors. He is also a young man who lives with a lot of hope, which is nice to see.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Hoping to see him back on the court as soon as is prudent.
